Glen Obear, Ph.D.
Glen Obear, Ph.D., leads the R&D, technical services, and regulatory departments at Exacto, Inc. He earned master’s degrees in Entomology and Soil Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Ph.D.in Agronomy and Horticulture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Obear’s primary research focus has been interactions between irrigation water and soil chemistry, where he has studied issues including wetting agent efficacy, bicarbonate, sodicity, and the formation of iron-cemented layers in putting greens. He has also taught webinars for GCSAA.
